E-mail or Phone Contact
Although not as personal as a face-to-face meeting, reaching us through e-mail or at our extensions is always a good idea if you have a quick question or concern. If you prefer speaking with us on the phone rather than e-mail, please understand that we often have students in our office and that we can't always answer our extensions. If you do get our voicemail, please leave a detailed message and we will return your call within 24 hours.
Appointments
We are always glad to see our students. We only ask that you follow these procedures so that we can best serve all of you:
· Students may stop in on a drop-in basis before school, at break, at lunch or after school. If you need more than just a few minutes, please stop in at the above mentioned times to make an appointment with your counselor.
.
· Parents must make an appointment to see a counselor (see below).
PARENTS:
If you have general questions or would like to make an appointment with your students counselor please contact one of the Counseling Secretaries and she will schedule an appointment at your convenience. We prefer to meet with you and your student, but realize there may be times when you would like to meet with us privately.
Thank you!
The mission of the SDUHSD school counseling program is to ensure a safe and supportive environment in which all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for academic, career, and personal/social development to become life-long learners, creative thinkers, and responsible individuals.
